An Observation by Duke Hogwild... All Star Edition!

"[The Rockets] are okay if they can get to 20 wins and 30 losses before the [All-Star] break. That way they only need to finish out the season 22-10 to get the 7th or 8th seed."

Duke believes, like all good Rocket fans, that it's the playoffs where the Rockets will do the most damage--and to add to those so perfect it feels rigged NBA postseason dramatics, they'll draw the Dallas Mavericks. It's certainly possible, the first part anyway, with Seattle, New York and Philadelphia coming up, the last two being on the road--but they'll have five more games after that, two with LA, one Clip, one Lake, and one with Phoenix. What about 21-33, still good?

21-33 is ok.but i think it'll be 23-31 at that point...with yao and mac back with head playing with confidence, all we need is managment to speculate a van gundy firing. then we'll be able to run off 8 in a row....remember when new york said they were going to fire van gundy if he lost the first round of the 99 playoffs. then they said they would fire him if he lost the second round. yet again during the east finals...you get the idea. that's right, all we need is some number 21 inch spinners and we'll see detroit..
